The tent performed well in Maine's 100 mile wilderness segment of the AT.
It is simple to set up and well built. The material is light and thin, but apparently of high quality. I would definitely recommended using the BA footprint. This was a solo trip, but the tent could have easily accommodated two people. On my one rainy evening, the tent performed well through a weather system that dropped two inches of rain, and had a 30 minute period of intense wind. Thumbs up for the Fly Creek, it has now replaced my venerable Sierra Designs Clip Flashlight of 22 years.
