All in all this seems to be a great product in terms of quality, design, and the thought of Mr. Hager at Big Agnus (yes I called them and found out that one of the owners designed this tent for himself, hence the name).I looked at REI, Northface, Nemo, SierraNev, etc and couldn't find anything else that fit my criteria:quality manufacturer, two doors, 3-person, privacy wall with mesh top, reasonable vestibule size, mechanically strong (for wind), rain fly with windows, etc.Nobody else makes it.Nada.

I bought this from an Amazon seller at well below retail ($229 free shipping), along with the footprint (always get a footprint, don't skimp). For a 3-person tent it's quite roomy for the two of us, which is why we bought it in the first place, along with the mesh on top to see the stars but the fabric goes high enough so that in a campground there's quite a bit of privacy. There's only a couple of tents out there like this and two of them are made by Big Agnus and none of the others really has this sort of shape (which I like) and other features. And yes, you really could put 3 people in here comfortably and with the fly on you get storage space at each end.

First thing, set it up in the backyard, took maybe 10 minutes which includes the fly.Real easy to set up, just one pole thingy that you hook into the four corners in the grommets on the tent (and on the footprint) and then snap the tent up to it.The fly velcro's to the pole frame; a couple of stakes if you want and you're done.

Another cool thing about this tent is that, since the fly velcros to the frame, you can prop it up as a shade.I REALLLLY like that idea since I'm often roasting on my trips. Also two doors...yeah!

The only cons I can say so far (but they're not really cons because it is what it is for design compromises to fit the market) is that I'll be using this backpacking and for me, it's a tad heavier than I am used to.But, the girl says she NEEDS the room so to get her to go I'll take the extra pound involved. Also, it would be real cool if the tent were about 3 or 4 inches longer if you're over 6 foot.As far as staying dry in a rainstorm I can't say yet but if I have any issues I'll visit this review and update it.
