Product Description:
You love the outdoors, but you don't love the bugs. Enter the Kelty Screenhouse, a screened-in mesh tent that covers a picnic table or a seating area so that you can stay bite-free on your weekend camping trip. The Screenhouse, which offers 99 square feet of interior space, offers two large mesh doors and four mesh windows, so you can see out in every direction while enjoying your grilled fish. In addition, the Screenhouse stands up to gusts and bumps from passersby thanks to its DA17 pre-bent aluminum poles. Designed by DAC specifically for tents, the DA17 poles are stiffer, stronger, and lighter than fiberglass poles, with a cost that's only slightly higher. And Kelty knows that zipper pulls can be jingly when the wind is blowing, which is why it integrated noiseless zipper pulls into the Screenhouse design. Other features include NiteIze Figure 9 guyline adjusters, which make it easy to tense the rope and release the tension (no more tying, adjusting, and untying knots); clip-sleeve construction, which helps increase the overall strength of the tent; pull-down shades for people who want a bit of privacy; and taped seams for added durability.

About Kelty
Kelty has been building affordable, reliable outdoor gear since 1952, helping everyone--from the first-time camper to the experienced mountaineer--embrace the outdoor experience with confidence. Dick Kelty launched the company after years of making backpacks in his home or garage for friends, hand forming and welding each of the frames while his wife sewed the pack bags. The original Kelty packs included aircraft-aluminum contoured frames, padded shoulder straps, waist belts, clevis-pin attachments, nylon pack cloth, zippered pockets, and hold-open frames. Dick Kelty quit his carpentry business in 1956 to focus full time on Kelty Packs, and turned an old Glendale, California, barbershop into his first retail store and factory. In the ensuring years, Kelty expanded its product line to include daypacks, luggage, waterproof clothing, child carriers, jogging strollers, and more.

Paha Que 12 x 12 Screen Room

We have owned two Eureka Screen Rooms, and friends have the latest Eureka Northern Breeze. This beats them all hands down. The attention to detail (straps to help pack the rolled up room, extra reinforcements at every stress point, a built in bag for the stakes, sewn-in instructions) and the quality of construction are exceptional. It definitely takes two people to set it up, but this is worth the price.

About Paha Que
Paha Que Wilderness Inc. is a young and innovative company that makes high-quality family camping tents. Campers love them, but when they first see the name in print, they pause and wonder just how to pronounce it and try to understand its meaning. You won't find it in any dictionary and there have been debates amongst linguists about its derivation. According to the legend behind the term, Paha Que is the Southwest Indian version of "Aloha." Paha Que takes it to mean "happy trails." It can mean hello, good-bye, how are you, have a good day, and more. Perhaps a variation on the Spanish phrase Que Pasa? The people at Paha Que learned it from a local rancher friend whose grandpa learned it from local Indians. It boils down to the fact that the name is surely different, and appropriately so because these tents are very different from ordinary tents.

Eureka Northern 12' x 12' Breeze Screen House with Awning Review

Eureka Northern 12' x 12' Breeze Screen House with Awning

This screen house is wonderful if at times you want to keep out the rain, wind, or sunlight. All sides have drop curtains so you can raise, lower whichever ones you want. Set up was easy and one person could do it. The product quality is excellent....you get what you pay for!! Poles are sturdy.Poles to use a curtain as an awning are included. My only fault is that guy ropes to tie the tent down are not included....a mystery because it certainly would not be a big added expense. The best price was at Amazon...more than 100 bucks saved!

A great choice for backyard barbecues, days at the beach, or evenings lounging at the campsite, the square Eureka Northern Breeze is nicely light and easily transportable thanks to its aluminum frame. The 150D polyester splash cloth and roof provide excellent UV resistance, and offers more durability than other screen houses with 75D polyester roofs. The strong durable shockcorded aluminum frame attaches to the body by a central hub and clips for a fast and easy set up every time. Other features include two full-length doors, no-see-um polyester mesh walls, and an optional snap-in floor (sold separately).
About Eureka
Though the exact year is unknown, Eureka's long history begins prior to 1895 in Binghamton, New York, where the company still resides today. Then known as the Eureka Tent & Awning Company, its first wares were canvas products--most notably, Conestoga wagon covers and horse blankets for nineteenth century American frontiersmen--as well as American flags, store awnings, and camping tents.
The company increased production of its custom canvas products locally throughout the 1930s and during the 1940 and even fabricated and erected the IBM "tent cities" just outside Binghamton. The seven acres of tents housed thousands of IBM salesmen during the company's annual stockholders meeting, which had since outgrown its previous locale. In the 1940s, with the advent of World War II and the increased demand for hospital ward tents, Eureka expanded operations and began shipping tents worldwide. Ultimately, upon the post-war return of the GIs and the resultant housing shortage, Eureka turned its attention to the home front during the 1950s by supplying awnings for the multitude of mobile homes that were purchased.
In 1960, Eureka's new and innovative Draw-Tite tent, with its practical, free standing external frame, was used in a Himalayan Expedition to Nepal by world renowned Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person documented to summit Mt. Everest only six years earlier. In 1963, Eureka made history during its own Mt. Everest ascent, with more than 60 of its tents sheltering participants from fierce 60+ mph winds and temperatures reaching below -20°F during the first all American Mt. Everest Expedition.
For backpackers and families, Eureka introduced its legendary Timberline tent in the 1970s. Truly the first StormShield design, this completely self-supporting and lightweight backpacking tent became one of the most popular tents the entire industry with sales reaching over 1 million by its ten year anniversary.
Eureka tents have also traveled as part of several historic expeditions, including the American Women's Himalayan Expedition to Annapurna I in 1978 and the first Mt. Everest ascents by a Canadian and American woman in 1986 and 1988. In recent history, tents specially designed and donated by Eureka sheltered Eric Simonson and his team on two historic research expeditions to Mount Everest, this time in a quest for truth regarding the 1924 attempted summit of early English explorers George Mallory and Andrew Irvine. During the 1999 expedition, the team made history finding the remains of George Mallory, but the complete mystery remained unsolved. Returning in 2001 to search for more clues, the team found amazing historical artifacts which are now on display at the Smithsonian.

I purchased this product to replace a cheaper screen tent that lasted 4 years at our vacation home before the fabric began tearing. The better fabric in this tent was the reason we purchased it.It did not have additional support lines as the other one did. As we did with the other one we planned to leave it up for the season. We came up the following weekend and it had collapsed destroying two of the four poles.

20'x20 Octagonal Wedding Gazebo Party Tent Canopy Shade Review

20'x20 Octagonal Wedding Gazebo Party Tent Canopy Shade

Having rented a tent for the past several years, we decided to buy our own. Most tents this size are thousands of dollars. We found this one for $400.It arrived in 3 boxes. The directions say 6 people one hour to put it up.We had 6 people and it took 20 minutes to put up the main part.We didn't use the sides, as it was July.We were able to put 4 8-person tables under it.Everyone said it was so fancy and made the party look professional. We all stayed dry during the surprise Long Island thunderstorm that dropped in uninvited to our party.Wind gusts were no problem. It was one of the best investments we ever made.Family members are hinting to borrow it.

This tent was beautiful.Just as described, easy to put up. We were very pleased. We had a hard rain and were running out to push water off the top but it was too much and the tent collapsed.Hoping we can get replacement parts because we loved this tent and planned to use it again and again. I was scared to buy a tent on Amazon and hoped I woudn't have to ship it back but this tentwas truly perfect, transformed our backyard into a fairytale. We loved and plan to use it for kids birthday parties, Thanksgiving and family reunions. As long as your event is dry or has light rain it is wonderful, heavy rain...get out or you maybe be stuck under a falling tent.Good news! Replacement parts are available!Saves me from investing in the green tent too.We really do love this tent!
